LIVE OUACHITA

The Ouachita Parish Police Jury (OPPJ), in partnership with the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, West Monroe–West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, Calhoun Civic Club, Richwood Business Alliance, and Sterlington Business Alliance, invites residents, business leaders, and community partners to attend upcoming events to preview the draft Comprehensive Parish Plan for Ouachita Parish.
The Live Ouachita: Our Land. Our Legacy. initiative is a resident-driven effort to create a long-term blueprint for growth, infrastructure, and quality of life across Ouachita Parish.
“These events are an opportunity for our community to see the draft plan, ask questions, and help refine the final vision,” said Ouachita Parish Police Jury President Shane Smiley. “Solutions last longer when they are shaped by the people who call Ouachita Parish home.”
The open house events will give attendees an opportunity to explore the draft plan and learn more about the initiative shaping Ouachita Parish’s future.
